2026 has been an exciting year for Spread the Light. We were proud to take part in Ramadan Lights London, hosted by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, showcasing our handcrafted lanterns and costumes as part of the largest Ramadan light display in Europe, in partnership with Ramadan Lights UK. We also launched our own Ramadan light display at St George's Shopping Centre, warmly welcoming the community to celebrate together.

Looking ahead, Together We Spread the Light Luton, funded by the National Lottery Awards for All, will bring local primary schools and partners The Point Luton together to create lanterns inspired by Luton’s 150-year borough celebrations, culminating in a free town centre lantern parade and family celebration.
